Managing users

An employee must become a BlackBerry Radar Dashboard user to be able to access the Dashboard application. Each user is assigned a role on the Dashboard, which defines what the user is able to do. The available roles are:

You can add new users to the Dashboard application, change an existing user’s role, and remove a user from the application who no longer needs the access.


Give access to a new user

A new employee must first create an account before being added to the BlackBerry Radar Dashboard. See User accounts for information about creating an account.

To add a new user to the application:

  1. Open the Users view.
  2. Click the __+__ sign in the role you want to add the new user to. This opens the Add User view.
  3. In the Email field, enter the email address the user used to create the account.
  4. In the First Name and Last Name fields, enter the user’s first and last names.
  5. If you decide to assign a different role to the user, select the role from the dropdown list under Role.
  6. Click Add [Role].

Change a user's role

  1. Open the Users view.
  2. Click on the user you want to make changes to.
  3. Select a role from the dropdown list under Role.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Remove a user

  1. Open the Users view.
  2. Click the user you want to remove.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.
